The Byzantium Hotel opened on 25 April 2008 in the thriving Sultanahmet area, surrounded by historic monuments. The hotel is only a few minutes walking distance to The Blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia, Underground Cistern, Mosaic Museum, Islamic and Turkish Art Museum, Topkapi Palace, Spice Bazaar and Grand Bazaar. Also, jogging area by the sea of Marmara is very close to the hotel.
